A Facebook post I made... God Declared 'Owner' of Alabama Town Where City Leaders Say He's in Control www.christianpost.com Town transfers ownership to God? It seems a bit presumptuous. What makes them think that God wants to own their little town? I can just hear God thinking "Oh great! Now I'm stuck with the upkeep of the place. And OH-MY-SELF, what about taxes? I can't believe that they unloaded their tax burden onto me! Granted property values have got to be low in a berg like that, but still, I have to pay for the whole town. How many forms will I have to file? How will I pay? Will the state accept schekles? The exchange rate is not good right now. Oh man..."
